Bath Time

I bathe my daughter Malak either every other day or every two days. She is a dirt magnet especially at this age! She wants to touch and eat everything in sight! I swear by Johnsons company products especially the shampoo! It smells great and my mother used it on us when we were babies. When Malak was younger I tried out Dove sensitive shampoo but I didn’t like it. It did not foam the same way the Johnsons shampoo did and it did not smell as nice, instead I use it as a body wash for her. Since Malak is now nine months old now she does not fit into her little tub but instead I fill the bathtub and sit her on her bum. I have a bath mat stuck to the bottom of the tub since it is slippery without it. I hold her in my arms and wash her hair first and then dry her hair. After that I sit her in the tub and let her play in the water as I clean her body. It is very important to clean out folds in your baby’s skin for example under the armpit and private areas. Baby on the Way

I know there is nothing more exciting than finding out there is a baby on the way (if you want one), but don't go all crazy with the shopping just yet. Remember that there you will get tons of gifts if you have a baby shower and even after the baby is born. I have a few tips that you should keep in mind now and when the baby is born.    1. Do not get too many new born outfits! Babies grow quickly after they are born, I know with my baby there are a few newborn outfits and onesies she didn't get a chance to wear. Just a few onesies and overalls should do the trick. Same goes with diapers they grow fast so don't get too much of the same size ahead of time.   2. There will always be and continue to be good sales even after the baby is born. If you splurge all at once and forget something you will get that chance again. Do not go overboard!   3. There are lots of sites you can sign up for and get free samples. I signed up for Huggies, Nestle, and Similac and got lo

Introduction to New Mommy Life

I have finally decided to start a Mommy blog about my experiences as a first time mom. I will start off with an introduction about my baby and I. I got married on September 29, 2013 to the man of my dreams. We are currently living at home with my parents with the intention of buying a house. Those plans did not work out for us we decided to go out and rent next month. Originally I did not want to have kids for a while and was opposed  to the whole idea. After I got married I started seeing cute kids everywhere and I started falling in love with the thought of having my own kids. I was working at the mall in Bentley Leathers at the time. That's when nagging my husband began and eventually he said yes. Having a kid all to yourself to love, play, and care for was all that occupied my thinking and I could not wait to have a baby. My baby's name is Malak Mohamad Merai and she is now 5 months old. She was born on January 26, 2015 at 5:20am. She is the love of my life and I can not
