[Review] Fossil Limited Edition Rainbow Jeweled Watch

On Saturday my beautiful Limited Edition Lyric Three- Hand Black Stainless-Steel Watch that I ordered through Fossil's website arrived, how's that for a name? I love that it still managed to make it on the weekend!

The Fossil brand itself lives up to the standard. Their watches and accessories and well made and in my opinion worth the price. The materials are good and lasting if you are a person who takes care of their stuff. They have a variety of different styles to address each person's individual taste. They have classic styles, leather bands, metal bands, glitz and glam styles, men's watches, and much more! Be sure to check out their accessories if you are going to look through the website. They are not considered a 'luxury' brand but I really enjoy the styles for the affordability.

Now into some of my watch particulars. I got it on sale for $130 originally $260 PLUS an additional 30% off. The watch itself is black with the newer style tight links. Ideally I would've liked the round part of the watch to be bigger similar to that of a men's watch but it is still beautiful nonetheless. Twelve different jewel colours for each hand of the clock, you can't really go wrong there. It matches everything!

I got a gift from my husband a while back as well as I expressed that it was time I buy a new watch. My husband bought me a Bulova watch. Silver, classic, but still had some sparkle with crystals. Bulova I feel is more universally known as opposed to Fossil but each brand has their styles and their different price range.

I love this watch as well.

Toys for Toddlers

Toys can be a crucial part of a toddlers development of the brain and the senses. My daughter recently turned a year old and loves to play and explore everything around her. Books can be a great way to stimulate the mind, my daughter often brings books from her playroom and gives them to me to read to her. Ramadan 2020: Preparations and Resources

Just under a month to go for Ramadan 2020! This year I have put together a nice '30 Days of Kindness' Calendar for Ramadan for children with the help of parents/guardians to follow earn some good deeds this Ramadan. I printed many copies and will be delivering to friends and family with children that I think would like to do this. In the past I have tried to do a more festive Ramadan month to put some Barakah back into the month and have it be a joyous occasion for all. Reflecting on 2020

2020 has been a hard year on so many ways but the year also offered me many blessings. I opened up the year with my daughter Malak's 5th unicorn themed birthday. Fares' Mario themed 1st birthday followed in February. I hope my babies have an amazing year ahead and lots of happiness and success in all that they do. One of my favourite things about my blog is reflecting back on it over the years and seeing the posts about the kids growing up. Before I returned to work from my maternity leave I pushed myself out of my comfort zone and what I had been conditioned to think to apply for a new job at another Neighbourhood Resource Centre. Although the job I initially applied for I did not get, I was super happy with the opportunity I was presented with. It was time for a change.
